Lavi glanced down at the rabbit for a moment, and then looked back up at Yu, and yes, he normally would drape himself over Yu, and coo about how much he had missed him just to annoy him, but... This situation was too different. So he stood there, as the rabbit apparently took his place to provide some physical affection. It felt wrong but so would acting like nothing had happened do too.
So he decided to go for the middle-ground; he didn't flop on Yu, but he offered a pat on the shoulder.
"It's good t'see you," he said, and it rolled very oddly off his tongue for some reason. "Even... considering."
And he motioned at nothing in particular with the hand he patted with, and then dropped it hopelessly to the side. And yet, there was still... Here he was; Yu. Lavi could punch him all he wanted. He was angry. But... It was like something was holding him back at this moment. But he needed to punch Yu, or something, for some reason, that he knew. So...
Come on, Yu, do something to anger him.
