[Goku's picked up the Hitomi and is examining it, his face coming in and out of focus as he moves the device around in his palm. Suddenly, he hears it speak, and he lets out a yelp.]
Whoa!
[He drops the thing in his alarm, and the screen goes black as it smacks face down on the floor. The world shifts across the screen as he picks it up again. He peers into it, curiously.]
[video] Oh yay! XD So many Saiyuki fans here <3solaris59June 7 2010, 00:48:12 UTC
Hey.
[Konbanwa? Was it night or day? He feels a bit disoriented, and in his haste to pick up the Hitomi, the blood's rushed to his head. And somehow, he feels a little weak, as though he were recovering from injuries. It was a dream though, right?]

[The teenager is wearing his nice sweater vest ensemble today, the tie neat and tidy at his neck. He sits cross-legged in his living room, a notebook open on the table before him, the Hitomi propped up on the table so that both boy and notebook are visible.]
A newcomer, I presume?
[He offers a smile, picks up a black pen, holds it against the paper.]
Re: [Video|Private]tenpa_tantrumJune 7 2010, 01:56:48 UTC
[Well, he can at least be helpful, perhaps. Gau flips a page in his notebook, straightens his spine a little.]
I'm glad to hear that you're all right.
[The important part first, of course. But the young man is fine, so he'll move on.]
When you have a dream, sometimes, it's broadcast for everyone to see. It's a dangerous thing about this world, really, how you are laid bare for everyone to see, sometimes.
[He pauses, smiles a little.]
But that also allowed me a chance to speak to you, because I saw the dream, and it showed up on my 'Hitomi', which is what this odd technology is called.
Re: [Video|Private]solaris59June 7 2010, 02:09:19 UTC
[He screws up his nose, getting more and more confused as the kid continues on and on about dreams and Hitomis and so forth. Broadcast? Everyone? But it's the last thing he says that he answers, first.]
[ There is a familiarity inherent in aspects of this dream.
All too well does Itachi recall the sensation of blood draining from his body, the proliferation of wounds and the impending inevitability of death. There is even a similarity in the healing: skin knitting itself, crossed stitches with no needles, blood flowing backwards into the body, or draining to dry patches with no opened flesh to account for them. Coming to this world had been such a miracle.
But what this boy experiences reminds Itachi of something else -- another healing he is familiar with. Another power that eyes such as his have been intended to control. Jinchuuriki. That energy, rushing forth. Pure energy, repairing the body. ]
[Video] lol lelouch is actually younger than himdramatic_capeJune 7 2010, 04:02:26 UTC
[ The dream is intense, raw, shocks through Lelouch like a wave of energy. The bullet wounds. The sensation of dying. And then, suddenly, a rush of power, more intense than he's ever experienced, even with the Geass, even that time with C.C. at Narita, this is...
The dream ends, and he lets go of a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding. The video shows the young boy from the beginning of the dream, and he seems lucid enough. But that dream. That had not been a dream of an average young teenager.
But Lelouch is willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, for now. ]
The device you are holding is called a Hitomi. You're no longer in the world you knew.
[Video] Aww XD <3 (and sorry for repost...modified my tag a litlte)solaris59June 8 2010, 00:32:40 UTC
[Goku has starting walking, curious eyes taking in everything around him. It smells wonderful here, like water and flowers. He feels like this can't be such a horrible place, though he'd still rather go back to where he should be.
He's finally starting to get used to people popping up unexpectedly on this Hitomi thing, so he's not too surprised when a voice starts talking again. He glances down into it to see this new person, who looks close to his own age and has purple eyes, like Sanzo.]
Thanks! Yeah...I heard as much.
[He looks up into the skies and the lush greenery around him.]
[video] You...you were asleep! ;___;solaris59June 7 2010, 11:10:57 UTC
Haha. You saw it too, huh?
[This feels really strange, that random people he's never met has watched his dream. But if it wasn't a dream, it's not as though there weren't people enough in that town who saw what happened. It's strange to be able to see it through the eyes of the Seiten Taisei, as he never remembers what happens when he transforms. Never so clearly, in any case.]
I didn't know...I could do that.
[He's staring down at his hand, which no longer has the claws that he had in the dream, and he wonders what happened to those people down below after he'd healed himself. Did he kill anyone? His brow furrows at the thought.]
Yeah, it's one of the strange functions of this device they call Hitomi. You can experience dreams of others through it. There's also a map, some sort of homing device and several different recording options. Also, you can make shit private if you wish, or only directed at some people, hmn. The people who answer to you are most likely other captives of this ridiculous place.
[Deidara rubs a hand over his face, fingers carding through his hair as in an afterthought.
He pauses for a moment, thinking back...]
Ah, really? Didn't know? [He doesn't mention that his own element is also earth, it's not something shinobi should willingly give away. But it does make him intrigued, and thus, continuing with light tone of voice,] Well, you did bunch of stuff for a guy who doesn't know, haha. Maybe it was just a dream, hmn?
Haha. All right, thanks for the info! I'll have to poke around with it a little later. It's kinda cool! Aside from the dream thing, anyway.
[It did feel a little freaky, waking up to a bunch of strangers having witnessed one of his less than sane moments.]
And I guess it could've been just a dream. [He scratches the back of his head. Maybe it was just a dream, and it never happened at all. But he does remember that unseen ambush, ripping through him with a pain that he could not have imagined. That part, at least, had to be true.] I dunno, I don't remember much when I...change.

He has to know more.
About the monster that wakes up as a boy]
...your "Sanzo" probably isn't here.
