[The feed opens up to a the back of small figure curled up in a dark corner. Four is just setting there, staring blankly at the stone wall of the tiny area he has found underneath the house he stayed with Lenalee and the others. He has been in this little space since yesterday, the desire to do anything or go anywhere has vanished as he slowly and

Hey... are you okay?
[ He's not actually sure why he's even asking this. ]

He slumps onto his back and looks up listlessly at the device that is now talking to him. He blinks at it, but doesn't do much else.]

One thing he can recognize, though, is missing someone.]
Hey, little... dude?
Who is that?

I guess it's kind of a cliche, but it'll get better. I lost someone I care about, too.

Right now, he can't bring himself to be.]
My twin.
He isn't here.
I want him here.

[Iruka is tentative in his approach, because there is something in how the little thing, this little person, in how he moves, how he behaves, how he reaches for something that isn't there, that reminds him of little children standing in the downpour, who've been left behind.
(The ones who stand quietly in the back of a funeral. The ones who watch others walk away hand in hand with their family. Their friends.)]

Iruka.
[What more can he say than that?]

[Iruka understands now that Four-kun doesn't... speak. But writes. So far. He only wishes he is able to express more through text.]
Do you eat? Drink tea?

[Four vaguely finds the question to be interesting.]
No. We don't need to.
Thank you though.

[Either way, he decides that for the good of Lenalee and therefore the house including himself, he should try to find out at least where 4 is at the moment. ...no, of course he's not concerned, don't be ridiculous. Time to bait him out... And, of course, does it in his usual way.]
Is that under the floor? Quite sure there are rats there. You might want to get out.

He pushes himself up into a sitting position despite his exhaustion and starts another projection. This time it is a black and white scan of a broken apart and destroyed city. Three pops out from behind a large shoe and Four's focus immediately zooms in on him. His twin grins triumphantly and holds up a shoelace that he has been working pulling out for the past hour...]

Lenalee's worried about you.
[Almost a little accusingly, there.]

I'm right here.
Nothing can hurt me here.
Lenalee does not need to worry.
[He does feel a little bit of guilt however, he doesn't want Lenalee to worry at all! He likes Lenalee. He just... doesn't want to leave this little dark hole right now.]

Yuui would have never imagined having something as daunting as the loss of not just a twin, but if their numbers were any indication, an older twin in common with the fascinating little doll.
But that's a pain he knows far too well - one that, for him, is only just now beginning to heal. But that feeling of loneliness, of separation - like you're missing the most important part of you?
Yuui would have never expected it in a 'doll'.
But there it was in flickering black and white. That alone is reason enough for him to flick on the video and offer a hollow reassurance. Hollow, because he also knows... nothing anyone can really say can lessen what the little bugger is feeling.]
...Not all hope of seeing your twin again is lost here. It took some time, but my twin was returned to me by these gods. Fai...Fai's my 'three', so give them time and maybe they'll give your twin back to you, too.

Why did they take him to begin with?
[Four has never experienced such pain and loss like this before, and he is unsure how to cope with it. He knows (or he hopes) that Three isn't dead, but they are so far apart now that he might as well be.]
How long did it take for them to return your Fai to you?
Reply
They didn't take him. He died when we were small, a very long time ago, and these gods gave him back. He's still little, but - well, you met him the last time we spoke.

[The thought is a terrifying one. What if something has happened to Three?]
What purpose...
Do the "Gods" want to punish us or reward us?
[He has no idea.]
