Week 31 Day 6 [Accidental video]
[The feed opens up to a the back of small figure curled up in a dark corner. Four is just setting there, staring blankly at the stone wall of the tiny area he has found underneath the house he stayed with Lenalee and the others. He has been in this little space since yesterday, the desire to do anything or go anywhere has vanished as he slowly and painfully realizes that he is completely alone. Three isn’t here, and he probably won’t be here ever. Four might never see the others again either, but it is the loss of Three that hits him the hardest. Never in his short life has he had to face things on his own.
There is a clicking sound as light suddenly flares from Four’s eyes and casts a black and white “home video” on the wall. A smiling ragdoll waves out at him, and skitters suddenly out of sight as he attempts to stop a marble from rolling off the shelf they were on. The other stitchpunk is practically identical to Four, except he has a 3 inked into chest, his movements are bolder and more confident than Four’s are. Three grins and examines the marble carefully before putting it down, he gestures at the “camera” excitedly, as if he has found something and wants to show it to Four.
Still projecting the images, Four reaches up as if the images alone can return his twin to him. His hand casts a shadow over Three’s face and he withdraws it. The projection flickers to a stop and Four bows his head, tired by the effort. However, after a few moments he raises his head again and another projection starts. Three is now attempting to remove a massive book from shelf all by himself. The camera moves closer in alarm as the book tilts dangerously, but Three waves him away.
The projection ends again, and Four covers his face with both of his hands, and his shoulders tremble as if crying. Four looks up again and begins another projection.
And another.
And another one after that.
He keeps going until the Hitomi, which he has discarded and forgotten about, times out.]
