[As vague as the dream is when just looking at it, it gets quite clearer when you feel it. Lavi doesn't quite know enough to connect all the dots, but he has a feeling this has to do with Yu's past... well, longer back than just when he, uhm. Awoke.
It's a vaguely familiar feeling but hard to place.
And afterwards, Lavi's not sure whether this is a bad dream or not. Maybe somewhere in-between? Bittersweet?
He figures he should check up on Yu, at least. So he clicks on the video function.]
[It takes a few rather long moments until there's a response.]
[Differently from most of the times after similar dreams, Kanda doesn't seem to be yelling or trashing about. He's still laying on his back in his bed, his face somewhat calm, almost melancholically so, and blank.]
Lavi.
[And that's all he says, and just looks up, his hair spread out on the pillow, he might be looking almost peaceful. But oh, there's a small frown on his face.]
[If Lavi's calling him now, it must mean the damned thing had showed this dream, too. He makes a small irritated sound, but doesn't move. Really, right not it's... not really important in comparison.]
[Well... That's definitely a relief; Yu seems fine. Even if... in a strange mood. That expression is almost completely uncharacteristic, but just almost.
Somehow not so much even if it feels like it should. It's a good thing, though. The sound that follows obviously means Yu's just fine, yeah. That's very characteristic of him.]
[Kanda snorts softly, but doesn't seem angry. In fact, it makes him feel somewhat good that Lavi does something like that, even if it's unneeded in his eyes. Because it helps him think the Noah brat was wrong.]

[If you're expecting a thanks though, you're not getting it. He still looks somewhat distant, though.]
[Wow. Okay. It does feel like it's been a long time since he's had to experience something like this. Akira draws his hand away slowly. He can be heard huffing quietly.]
...Seems like any time there's kids who can do stuff, and adults who can mess with 'em, all kinds of stupid crap goes down.

[The goddamn little Noah. Why, that's a good question. What are you doing, watching his dreams, you rotten little brat? Naturally, he chooses to interpret the accusation the way he deems fit rather than how it's actually meant, why are you dreaming me or something.]

Road's main problem is that she's just gotten back from the facility late the night before, and now Allen's gone, probably back to the compound to be with his Exorcist friends, and she's got a lot of pent-up frustration that needs out.
Good thing Kanda makes such a good target for irrational rage.]
[Kanda tries to switch on the video, but it doesn't work for some reason. And he can't recognize the person from their voice, damn. Irritated, he supposes that maybe the honorific isn't all bad, but really, what is he supposed to say to that to who-knows-who? Not to mention... what is there to say, anyway? He doesn't really want to talk about it.]

[The familiar voice snaps Kanda out of the strange state he's in, though he remains still for a while before finally turning and picking the device up, bringing it closer to his face and pondering for a moment before hitting the button to answer.]
[It's a little strange, really. Lenalee is completely a part of this life, and it's by no means fake. In fact, sometimes he feels like she's closer to him than anyone else - but he doesn't want to tell her about all of the illusions, just because... She'd worry too much, wouldn't she? And he doesn't want that, even though... Maybe it's not the case anymore. After all, she just saw all this. Wouldn't it be worrying, too? Not to mention that she deserves to know something, so probably... he should tell her more. Just not right now.]
Yes. [He sounds strangely calm, almost relaxed, although a bit silent, especially when he adds, barely audibly,] Thank you.[It just feels like a decent response, even though he knows Lenalee doesn't think grattitude is needed. She always treated him like a person

[It's strange to see Kanda so calm now, after something like that. Stranger still to hear what she decides was definitely a quiet 'thank you.' While Lenalee is glad that he seems okay, it is eerie to see him so affected.]
