[If Jessica was anyone else, she might have given you an embarrassing nickname. However, "That guy" sounds perfectly fine by her, in her books.
The prices vary on what the thing you want to summon is. Like, small stuff like soap and cigarettes? Don't really cost that much. Other things like expensive dresses or guns or whatever cost a lot more. But I doubt glasses would be that hard to replicate.
Not that Mukuro is terribly disturbed by things being broken, because, well. Ken, after all. And the glasses are replaceable one way or another. It is just that in the entire time Mukuro has known Chikusa (a man who possesses an unusual amount of manual dexterity), he does not seem to recall Chikusa breaking anything that Mukuro did not expressly order him to break (i.e. Gokudera).
Sure, Ken broke things all the time. With regularity that some might call alarming, but Mukuro had always tolerated it, in his way. They all tolerated Ken. Possibly the lack of Ken, as of late, has led to a sort of uneasy quiet. Mukuro himself has taken to surreptitiously tracking dirt on the floors and knocking things over, when he is certain that Chikusa isn't looking - not that he has any particular predilection for filth, but the cleanliness, left unbalanced, is stifling.
Not that he thinks Chikusa would be likely to agree.
But.
Could it be, that possibly. Possibly. This - Chikusa, in Ken's absence, suddenly breaking
( ... )
Really, to be quite honest - without Ken, the source of all of Chikusa's domestic and petty annoyances and someone to get snappish with for no particular reason- well. Chikusa is perhaps feeling a little more impatient with everyone else, lately. (Because, really, Ken's presence makes everyone else comparatively more bearable.)
That is to say. He could do without the insinuations. All he wants out of life right now is a pair of glasses that aren't cheap plastic, sir.]
[Well, you don't have to get testy. Mukuro is just pointing out a simple fact. Chikusa's annoyance is something of a puzzle to Mukuro. Generally speaking, of course, it is Mukuro's policy to react to the annoyance of others with amusement. In Chikusa's case, this reaction feels - inappropriate, let us say, particularly when that annoyance is directed at entities other than Ken and/or people whom Mukuro feels are rightly deserving. As in, people who are not Mukuro himself.
Still, far be it from Mukuro to acknowledge that there is anything even approaching wrong here.]
[Yes, well. At least Mukuro's insatiable desire to be a bit of a huge tool has been curbed for dealings with Chikusa. He does appreciate your favoritism, you know. Even if it is partially because Chikusa exhibiting any emotional capacity beyond "pile of dirt" is apparently concerning enough to clamor for him to calm down.
In any case. There is a pause here. What...is this suggestion? An alternative? How do those work?]

I don't know about repairing, but the summoning shop can give you an exate replica of of your glasses. You know, get a spare pair or two.

Does it cost much?

Is an exact replica a requirement? [He kind of doesn't want to snap another pair of the same cheap frames, you see.]

I'm not interested in embarrassing myself.

Wouldn't tape require summoning, regardless. How impractical.

How did that happen?

[You know, "I left them on my bed and then forgot and oops that was a cracking sound." Except that's kind of lame to say.]

[Sarcastically. Duh, that's pretty obvious.]

[Yeah well!! Don't judge.]
... They were in a poorly chosen place, and I was careless with heavier things.

[It is completely the glasses' fault that they decided to break before he found them, alright.]

[ You remove them ever? ]

[Sometimes, he even takes off his hat.]
I am capable without them, you know.

They would have broken eventually.
