[Week 16 | Day 7] Video

Dec 31, 2010 14:18

[The video opens to a sight of old cave dwellings, it looks like that abandoned shrine that most have passed by on their way to the market place. But instead of being almost completely blocked by hanging greenery, vines and dried branches, few of the cave entrances are open and some even covered with drapes.

Gokudera is hanging one of them while ( Read more... )

You're opening a coffee shop as well? I'm not a great help with heavy labour, but I'd be more than happy to wait table for you.

Well, right now we got only physical labour to offer.

And frankly, once we are looking for waiters, we'll prefer those people who have already worked with the repairs. You don't have to be a bunch of muscles to do this job.

Your call, however.

If it's something to do and a way to get by, count me in.

Your name?

[Ah, he might sound a bit annoyed. It's only because he likes people who are ready to do what it takes. And he's not sure what to make of her right now.]

[He didn't intend to interact with another individual for some time, but since it is unlikely that he would be returning to the luxury of filled fridges and foreign delights --[

Where is this construction to take place, if you wouldn't mind?

[Not that he does manual labor, but were he take a job at this coffee shop (quite a bit less difficult to handle than baking).]

Yomisato. [Vague? Yes it is. And will be. Even if the location comes quite clear through the video to a person who knows his way around in Yomisato.]

Are you interested in job?

I am, depending on which are available.

[And the vagueness doesn't steer him off at all. Yomisato, in general, is where he prefers to be - while trapped in this world, at the very least.]

Right now it's physical labour. Cleaning up the place, and some construction work, stuff that anyone can do if they're willing to sweat a little.

[Narrowing eyes right here.]

(Oh, hey, it's a non-intoxicated Yamamoto. Reever thinks he prefers this version over the intoxicated one.

Hopefully this guy doesn't remember much of that conversation.)

Where's the coffee shop located?

Reever-san!

[............ ah. Yes, Yamamoto remembers this man. Remembers something quite embarrassing too. But he answers anyway, and does so with a calm smile and a pleasant attitude. Total one-eighty, isn't it?]

Yomisato. It's a little close towards the markets~

(Smiles.)

Hey, Yamamoto.

(Yeah, definitely a one-eighty. He'll just shove that particular moment in a lock box and never open it until it's buried under absurd amount of dust.)

Yomisato? Hold on, give me a moment.

(And it looks like he's doing something to the Hitomi, what with his hand blocking his face as it touches the screen to bring out the map.

Yomisato. Wind Country. South of Raisato. Travel time wasn't bad.)

It's not far. Would it be alright if I helped out?

We'd appreciate all the help we can get, Reever-san. If you don't mind working for us that is, pay isn't that much.

[Their payroll is calculated and there's no telling how much of that is going to last and if it'll even cover things. Which is why, he himself doesn't stop the gambling at night. Construct by day.

Steal by night.

What a cycle.]

Got any experience with construction or something?

I'd be happy to help. I've done construction before, though it might not look it.

[It was mostly related to the fact she kept walking into situations where major damage happened, but it was teaching her valuable life skills.]

[A blink and Yamamoto tries to gauge out the woman on the screen. Smile remains in place.]

You don't look it at all! That's great though! What kind of construction have you done before~?

My mother had a spell she wrote down to help with lifting things. That and I can use some magic to help with demolition. And, well, I'm great at heights.

[Color him curious but... that's a little new to him. Spells even if things like rings and dying will flames exists. Spells sounds so... magical.]

A spell?

[A blink.]

Witchcraft and wizardry, then? That kind of thing?

I see. Perhaps sometime we ought to do some cross-promotion with the tea shop I work at. If there's people who would enjoy both.

[Iroh certainly had to admit he'd tried coffee and found it a poor substitute to tea, but there were parts of the Earth Kingdom that specialized in growing it, and took the preparation quite seriously.]

[It starts with a small smirk. Competition? Well, it sounds all good and fair for Gokudera. Makes things interesting.]

Perhaps we could. Where is your tea shop located?

Kusasato. I could draw you a map, if you like.

That's way off from Yomisato.

Is that the place where the library was?
