[Week 16 | Day 7] Video
[The video opens to a sight of old cave dwellings, it looks like that abandoned shrine that most have passed by on their way to the market place. But instead of being almost completely blocked by hanging greenery, vines and dried branches, few of the cave entrances are open and some even covered with drapes.
Gokudera is hanging one of them while standing on a small stool. His green yukata is dusty, wrinkled and bunched awkwardly around his elbows, hem pushed under the rope around his waist and and revealing legs of tattered jeans and worn out sandals.
It takes a moment before he looks back and frowns, cheeks red under the gray piece of fabric tied around his head in bandanna fashion.]
Uh... what're you doing? Give me that! You were the one who should do the talking.
[And so he's marching towards the camera... which rotates and pans to instead show Yamamoto laughing and rubbing the back of his head sheepishly picture shaky till it focuses just as Yamamoto’s face irons itself out to a calmer expression. His yukata is equally dusty, just like the rest of the cave. When he speaks, he speaks directly and without pausing. Facts out, easy to understand, polite and friendly but no monkey business.]
Right, right... so there’s a few things we’d like to get done. And since there are people who want jobs, we need a few extra hands. Anyone good with construction, interior and repairs, we’re willing to hire to get this place [Yamamoto tips his chin towards his surroundings] fixed up. It’s going to be a lot of work but with a joint effort, it’ll go by fast. Job will consist of manual labor to get this joint running...
[A pause and Yamamoto’s gaze drifts away from the camera to the person holding it eyebrows raised, silently asking, you wanna say something else? A small snort can be heard behind the camera, and a voice from much closer, sounding a bit exasperated.]
Our plans involve a small coffee shop and simple accommodations for those who have trouble finding a place to stay in, for either low price or working as payment.
[Yamamoto smiles at the camera and nods, eyes curving up to crinkles arcs.]
Hmm! You guys can reach me or my friend here if you’re interested or want to discuss arrangements and so on. It’s not much but, everyone needs to start somewhere right~?
