[When the transmission starts, it's black. Then light is visible and starts to grow, and a floor appears, a wall, part of a doorway, going by in a sweep as the Hitomi's lifted.
The picture's jerky and jumps around, now showing a blue eye, narrowed; now a curl of smoke; now a downturned mouth. Matt drags on his cigarette and blows the smoke out without using his hands, and there's a thump, a flicker of static, a ceiling. A hand closes over the screen, and muttering can faintly be heard.]

[The quality of the light changes, and when the picture clears, there's sky.
Then there's a rock coming at the screen, very fast. Cracks craze across the image, and it goes black.
But only for a second.
Matt's leaning over it, scowling, embroiled in a staring contest with the thing, clearly unaware it's still capable of transmitting despite the cracks. He's still (or again) smoking.
He has to blink some time, and the moment he does, the picture turns crystal-clear again.]

[The sky goes spinning around as he kicks the thing away, and the feed cuts out.]
