[Video turns on and you get a close up of a girl with violet eyes and dark hair, staring intently into the screen.]

[muttering] What is this thing?

[There is a large tree behind her which can be seen as she pulls away from the screen to look around. She stands, holding the hitomi at her side for a moment, her blue dress filling the frame.]

[She glances at the device again, decides it must be some sort of phone, and presses a few buttons experimentally.]

Hello? Can anyone tell me where I am?

[He smiles. First Hinamori, and now Kuchiki? What a strange day.]

[And he simply keeps that smile in place. Judging by her tone, she is not entirely pleased. That, and she didn't call him "taichou". She must be from the same time as the others.]

This is First Lieutenant Riza Hawkeye, Amestrian military. I would be very grateful to anyone who could tell me where I am, and how far it is to Central City. I am unsure how I came to be here, but it is vital that I return as quickly as possible.

I would be most appreciative for any information or assistance provided.

First Lieutenant Hawkeye. I am Her Holiness the Keeper of the Sacred Blue Spring, Yun, Chief of State, Head of the Church, and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Theocracy of Simulacrum.

While I do not believe 'Amestria' is a nation with which we have established diplomatic relations, if you were to provide me with more information I may be able to work this out.

This is a place called Kannagara. I am afraid that you will probably be here for...

You came here because a being of unutterable caprice styling itself a god willed that you come here. It is a thing of immense power, I am sorry to say.

A god? [Half skeptical, half actually frightened of the word.]

I haven't heard of your nation, but Amestris has no good relations with neighboring countries. We are in a... difficult political situation at the moment. That is why I cannot afford to spend much time here. Is there a train station nearby?

A god. I do apologise.

I sympathise. My nation's situation is also very precarious, being involved in a war that we want no part of as a consequence for having lost a previous war. I am sorry but I do not believe that there is any way to reach a train station by human power from here. We seem to be in our own self-contained world.

[And there's an almost pained smile. Good god.]

[Have the intrigued face of an also suit-wearing, brown-haired man. Well, a Time Lord, not a lawyer. Bit of a difference.]

It's called Kannagara. Bit of an odd place; lot of people suddenly appearing. Quite a strange matter, really.

[Because he's been obsessively reading through what other people are saying and he perhaps sounds a bit too cheerful, but helpful anyway. And well, while it's a bit unnerving to be somewhere he doesn't know, it's far too interesting to really be upset.]

[He scratches at his the back of his head.]

Kannagara, huh? Yeah, I've seen quite a few people around here. I guess something has to be going on if we're all just showing up at once.

[And he nods.]

Well, I guess it's something to look into. Are you new here, too?

[As landings go, it's not one of Teo's better ones. Which is probably only to be expected, when you think you're coasting in onto the rock runway of the Northern Air Temple, and instead wind up in grass. He pulls the glider chair's handbrake, and skids alarmingly, even for him.]

Whoa! That was weird!

[He's more interested than worried. He pushes the flying goggles up onto his forehead, and looks around.

Then he discovers the strange device that's appeared sitting in his lap, and picks it up to inspect it. Cue closeup of a thirteen-year-old boy with messy dark hair and brown eyes, concentrating, but smiling faintly at this new-to-him technology.]

[ Yellow never expected to see something like this: a boy dropping out of the sky? He's not riding a Pokemon, either; it looks like some sort of wheeled, winged chair, of all things. It looks more like something that Emerald would have come up with than anything Yellow's ever seen, and she approaches him with great interest, her hair tucked up in the straw hat clamped firmly on her head. ]

Hello? You've got one, too?

[ She holds up her own Hitomi to demonstrate. ]

Yeah! How do they work?

[He looks as if he might try to take it apart to figure this out. He is an inventor's son, after all, but comes from a world where messenger hawk is the fastest way to send information.]

[A simple greeting, even if this young looking boy might be confused like everyone else. Either way ... ]

[Now this is odd. Firstly, it's a fairly advanced pieced of gadget, kind of like the type that's being advertised on television these days. Secondly, there is a network.

Spirit cares not for all of that. He just wants to know where the hell he is and how the hell can he call overseas.]

Excuse me, operator? [A shuffle, and a frown.] Is this functioning? I need to make an overseas call.

[Now this is a voice he does not recognize. But apparently this voice recognizes him. And just his luck, it's an old man. Why can't it not be a lovely vivacious woman? Long hair and silky skin, long lashes and a blush on her cheeks, so that he may charm her and --

Either way, fact still stands, this stranger knows him. So Spirit is ... partially confused. Maybe he is a Meister or Weapon or a representative at some other school?]

[For a moment, the shock on his face goes from somewhat pleased...to practically pained.]

[--remember me? But no, of course not. It's obvious he doesn't. And it's not the first time, either. People have disappeared and returned before with no memory of Anatole...and this isn't even Anatole. Scar sighs and his gaze turns down.]
