Absolutely somptuous.
The 4th page of cover is the title page for "A miserable office worker". The first pages of that chapter are in scales of grey. The short novel is quite graphic and horrific! But I can't say no more as it would be spoiler for chapter 4. In "The hitman's drop" the graphic style is closer to "Poison Cherry Drive", sometimes satiric.
I ordered "Sanbika" too but I don't know if I'll be able to find a scanlation on line... I really must learn Japanese faster ROTFL

A little late. But just wanted to sayy thank you for all the information! And it's great that you plan to translate it! :) if you need any help with well anything let me know! Although I don't know if you plan to make it a proper scanlation :) I just realized the entire volume has been scanned already though.

Now you tell me! I have found only "Romantic" and "Transfigured Night" that I saved times ago to my HD. I think I read somewhere ch1 (Visconti) but I must be wrong, as I can't find a track anywhere. And as far as I know they're not on line anymore. Do you have the whole raw scan? Because I started to scan and clean "A miserable office worker", that I'd rather translate by A clumsy-lary-man! myself to preserve the pun I think I understood. If you have chapters 1, 4 and 5, I'll take them with pleasure, that would avoid me some work LOL ( ... )

Yeah I am sorry! I should've thought about it before. But I was recently thinking about the scans available online and remembered seeing the scans. They are hard to find though, as libre has been paying attention online. But here's the link: http://www.mediafire.com/?3jtgbjv2awf They obviously still need cleaning/editing :)

Thank you so much kimoto! As I said, my scanner is an old one. For the cleaning, I already trained with a file proposed by I don't remember which scanlation site, and I'm skillful enough with Photoshop. Here are two pages of chapter 4 I cleaned and where I had to redraw some parts, and restore patches of screen-tones:

Hi! I know this is really old, but I was wondering if you still plan on doing this? Actually, I'm part of a scanlation group that kind of plans on doing it but the translator doesn't feel like doing the novel portion (lol) so I was wondering if you'd be able to do it? *w* I know this is asking a lot, but it's worth a shot :'D We could also release it with the rest of the manga, or just point people in your direction if you'd prefer that. ^^

Thanks for your time!

Yes, this is a little old LOL, and I didn't translate anything as nobody seemed to be interested. So you'd like me to translate the short novel? I'll try if you wish, but you'll have to do a lot of corrections after! Not only isn't my English that good, but the text is really complex (and horrific, but that's okay!) Of course that would be a translation from French, not from the original Japanese.

I'm a cleaner in a French scanlation team now, but as our boss moved to Japan, found a flat and a job, we're on hiatus for an indefinite length of time.

About “Grand Guignol”, I wonder if anybody would think of translating the other chapters. As I said, only the chapter in “Tanbishugi” has been scanlated; there's more in BBG (I have all of them), it was on hiatus, but a new chapter has been published in the last issue (#5) of Pink Gold. I have it too!

Not interested?? They're all crazy. CRAZY!
Of course, you don't have to if you don't want to, but I thought I'd ask ₍₍(ง ˙ ω ˙) ว I'm fine with it being from French ^^ I know that some meaning can be lost as it goes through several languages, but heck, a lot of English scanlations are done from Chinese versions, and nowadays a lot of them are done from Italian, German, Russian, and so on... so I'm pretty easy-going when it comes to that, haha

Oh jeez (;´Д`) Well, we have plenty of BL at The End that you could clean freelance if you want (ノ> ヮΣ(゜ロ゜;) I think it was stopped because it was a Libre title and they requested the scanlators to stop. Pretty much everyone stays away from Libre nowadays for this reason... OTL ( ... )

I understand publishers' angst vs scanlation teams when some (but mostly re-publishing sites) don't cancel the files once the manga is licenced. But they should understand too that many fans come to know, love and buy their products after reading some via the Internet...

For the translation, I'm going to give it a try! To me, Harrap's and OED :0)

Doing some cleaning for you, why not? I really don't know when our boss natsu will be ready to give us some work, and as I'm retired (I'm 64) I have a lot of free time. No rape if you want, but personally I have no “no-go zones” LOL. Rape, BDSM, shota, bara, everything's okay with me as long as the story, and above all, the art, is good. Do you wish me to put on my Mediafire page some examples of what I've done? So you'll see if my cleaning skills are good enough. With natsu, it's all cleaning: text, onomatopeia, even if a lot of redrawing has to be done. And of course, erasing all those damn' censor stickers.
