I am stuck in the middle of nowhere. Thankfully, wireless internet was eventually located, and thus I am not going crazy. Buckinghamshire is covered in frost, and there is plenty of tea and apples.

I have questions relating to S2 of Carnivale, given that I am writing an Alias/Carnivale fic for bluerosefairy. My questions is S2-spoilery and is based on the

That was one of the many sucky things about s2. Justin - the same guy who starts 1 flogging himself for having thoughts about his sister - is retconned into having raped Apollonia as a young man. To add injury to insult, not just Iris but Norman is retconned to having known this. Norman, who starts s1 in delight and joy of his foster children and whom Justin begs for death in the s1 finale, that's right.

I don't suppose that anyone will mind if I just erase all knowledge of S2 from my memory and just go on my s1 understanding of them? In that they are not, you know, CRAZY in s1?
