I have a new computer! She was delivered last night. Her name is Val, and she is very pretty, yes indeed! I have already loaded lots of Prettiness (TM) onto her, and will doubtless amuse myself by locating the latest versions of all my favourite programmes for a long while yet. Plus! Networking joy soon! Which means Val will soon have broadband,

Pookie has had to be stroked and petted and told that he is a good PC and no-one will be replacing him, especially now there are two super shiny computers in the house. Although Pookie does get to feel manly as he has internet access - it's the PC equivalent of hogging the remote control.

Yes, Val is very pretty, but remember, Pookie is large, beige and heavy (um)
