I have less than a week to put my research together for presentation. (yabai!) The presentation is actually not until the 23th but I have to send it in advance.. So you all understand that I'm not really here, right? ^^;

Lol, depends how motivated I am.. you don't have to worry about timeline in your end. I know inspiration doesn't come just like that.

Hmm... I'm not good enough to REALLY translate a song. Yet. I usually look for two or three translations in English and with mp3 re-write the lyrics so that they fit the melody, transations never really do (which is why my dream of re-writing Sakura Sake is far fetched, God what would I give for a talent to write rap) I use English mostly, but Finnish too, if I get inspiration and find correct words...

Sometimes though I write lyrics that are totally my own, and maybe only the mood of the song is the same.. sometimes not even that... You can check my journal for example, there's few under the tag lyrics

Changing language~ ^^;

Kerro vaan sitten tuonnempana toiveita kuvan tyylistä ja välineestä millä haluat sen tehtävän.

Joo no tän takia haluasin vaihtaa kielen: tiiätkö journalin nimeltä taijiproject? Sen pitäjä antoi mulle tannoin luvan käyttää sen Arashi biisien käännöksiä pohjana kun käännän suomeksi finn_arashia varten.

Lupasin tietysti mainitan hänen osuutensa käännökseen.
Yhtään käännöstä en oo vielä tehnyt mutta jos sä postaat käännöksen meidän communityyn niin voit käyttää luvallisesti myös hänen käännöksiä. ^^ Becky kääntää tosi upeasti!

Innolla kyllä odotan suomeksi (tai edes englanniksi) käännettyä LAULETTAVAA versiota jostain Arashi biisistä!

Laulatko muuten ite (näitä käännöksiä tai originaaleja lyriikoita~)?
;__; En taida nyt keritä tutkia minkälaisia sanoituksia oot tehnyt, mutta oon tosi kiinnostunut!! Käyn kurkkimassa sitten kun asiat hiljenee.

Well, it was a stupid scandal anyway but it had big consequences. 2PM's leader, Jaebum, said like four years ago on Myspace that he didn't like Korea and wanted to stay in America. (He's half-American I guess?) Korean netizen found those entries in summer and Jaebum had to leave 2PM and the kpop scene because of his unpatriotic opinions. :/

Not knowing what he actually wrote and all those little details:
It's ridiculous to judge a man based on his opinions FOUR YEARS ago. Life is hard if you don't feel like being part of the culture you live in.

(I'm currently studying what happens when people move to other countries, or have parents that came from another country. ^^;)
