Whoa, you're listening to 2PM now? Even though I know all about the Jaebum scandal, I haven't listened to their music at all...

Well, it was a stupid scandal anyway but it had big consequences. 2PM's leader, Jaebum, said like four years ago on Myspace that he didn't like Korea and wanted to stay in America. (He's half-American I guess?) Korean netizen found those entries in summer and Jaebum had to leave 2PM and the kpop scene because of his unpatriotic opinions. :/

FAIL Korea, huge FAIL..

Not knowing what he actually wrote and all those little details:
It's ridiculous to judge a man based on his opinions FOUR YEARS ago. Life is hard if you don't feel like being part of the culture you live in.

(I'm currently studying what happens when people move to other countries, or have parents that came from another country. ^^;)

I know, right? Most of the fans are also furious that Jaebum got fired. They're saying that 2PM isn't whole with just six people but seven and their nickname to six-membered 2PM is 1:59PM. Weird enough, 2PM's new album (which the fans are boycotting because Jaebum's not in it) is named 1:59PM. Not the best solution from the producers, eh?
