It appears that Youtube has apparently made a minuscule baby step in the right direction.
So that's a good thing, I guess.

Apparently, the US Copyright Office opened up discussions about the DMCA and then didn't tell anyone about it. Now, there's a little over a day left to do so. My guess is that they were hoping that nobody would notice, and then they could do whatever the hell they wanted.

I'm no fan of Jim Sterling. I've mentioned this on several occasions in the past. If you watch the above video, you can probably get an inkling of why that is the case.
HOWEVER.
With that said, I will allow that in this particular case, at least, Mr. Sterling is using his powers for the side of good, for once. And for that, I thank him. -
