It had been decided that Rika and her two friends Yumi, and Ritsuko would celebrate their birthdays together. They were all pretty close together and it just made it easier to get the party over with all in one sitting. Unfortunately during the school festival it consumed a majority of their time so now it was a frantic rush to get it all thought

Tonight was Rika's birthday dinner, and Ryo planned on attending. He had chosen his outfit to coordinate right down to the shoelaces. Time wasn't a concern of his because he didn't care if he did show up late.

The only thing he had left to do was pick up Rika's present. The more he thought about it, the more it seemed impossible. How could he possibly ask Kazuya for that? And to just seek him out and beg for it? He bit his lip. He should have thought about this in more detail and gave himself more time

"Guys just stop it." Rika interjected. "If its a problem me and Ryo can leave." Rika put her hand shakily on his shoulder.

"There is no problem," Ritsuko voiced up, glancing at Yumi and Kasai. "I'm glad you came, Jo-san."

"Yeah just keep your mouth shut and I will be fine." Yumi glared before looking at Rika. "I have no clue how this happened Rika but if its what you want I can learn to deal."

Jiro laughed nervously. "And with that, we eat?"

Rika laughed back and took the liberty of ordering a soda for Ryo. "Sorry no alcohol." she said apologetically to him.

"Whaa?!! How can dat be? We'll hafta haf our own private party with da booze later." Ryo replied.

Rika just smiled and kept quiet about Ryo's antics as the waitress brought out more drinks and appetizers.
