Though I've gotten used to the fact people come and go, it's never easy when people go. Even when I tell myself "It's better they're not here" or "It's what should be" I can't help but be selfish and want them back. It makes you wonder who might be next

..I think about that when I think about home. I want to see them but I don't think they'll like it here.

No one likes it here, but when you're here you start to think things like "I wish I could see so and so". Or, "if I have to be stuck here they could at least be stuck with me!".

It's hard when you get to know people here too. They come and go and you may never see them ever again.

As far as I'm aware you don't. Though, some people will remember again if they return here.

Well, yes, but I have yet to see anyone here from my world, so I haven't particularly given it much thought.

Honestly, it's harder when it's people who aren't from your world I think. When you get to know them, and they've been around a long time and then... one day they're not and you're alone again.

People come and go all the time here.. There's barely any use in dwelling on it. It's not like we can change it either way.

It's a little hard not to when you let yourself get close to people. And since I'm not a rock or an island, I can't not get close to people at some point.

Pretty much. Even when we don't want to, we will create connections to others.

I suppose not. At least you are able to recognize that in yourself.

Of course I recognize it, I'm not so far into denial that I can't see myself for who I am.
