It never fails. (Or, perhaps, it is fail.) A event happens and I decide that I want to write about it. Then, when I get a chance to write, I don't feel like writing about it at the moment. However, since I think I "should" write about it, I just don't write anything at all, and the journal goes unupdated for long stretches of time ( Read more... )

Wow, I haven't been to a con in years... maybe I should try some time.

Congratulations to your brother (and you) are due, as well!

I'm still rather envious of your Arcade Fire concert, and so there will be no further discussion of that.

Next year, the AL East might be even crazier, since both Baltimore and Toronto show signs of life. It'll be interesting, even if I won't have tons of hope just yet.

I will pass on your congratulations to him! Thank you. ^^

The Orioles seem to be settling down a bit, but a .667 winning percentage is still very good. Perhaps in the future it should be the AL East versus the rest of MLB. ;p

For Spoon, their big singles a few years back were "The Underdog" and "Don't You Eveh" from their album Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga.

Yeah, neither of those ring any bells. It's possible that I've heard them and just never knew what they were called and who they were by, but nothing at the concert sounded familiar, either.
