Greetings from the tree sanctuary

Very belatedly, Happy Gauda Prime Day! I'm late because, rather appropriately, I have been to a funeral, but either side of that flying trip to London I have carried out my usual GP activities.

One of those is to take some form of vegetation to the gravestone of my former primary school teacher and her family, in whose house I first watched Blake ( Read more... )

Happy GP day to you, too! Although a funeral seems like a very sad way to celebrate it, however appropriate.

By the way, I wanted to let you know I got the card you sent! It did immediately make me think of the Ninth Doctor, even before I opened it. :) Thanks!

It was a good funeral. I felt a bit guilty walking out on Kathleen Ferrier at the end, but there seemed to be an awful lot more of "Blow the Wind Southerly" than I recalled, and everyone else had gone!

Hurrah for the Ninth Doctor! Who was, of course, the only one of the modern era not to do Christmas.

Your post here is like the Life itself, isn´t it? I liked it very much, even though there was a funeral. And I liked the photo!
Yes, a happy GP Day to you too - even though I have never watched this episode and never will and I don´t mind being so silly.
Vila would be DELIGHTED, knowing him, he would settle down there at your Cabinet:-).
