Far from flat

A busy day, during which I bought a new (well, second-hand) armchair, which I hope is the one I've always wanted, from Oxfam, and gave them the old one in return; I also bought a bowler hat, but didn't give any headgear away ( Read more... )

And I liked the way that, without even needing SFX, having the TARDIS in Clara's bag effectively made the bag a TARDIS from which she kept drawing large and improbable objects passed out by the Doctor!

Oh yes, that was cool.

Wasn't so keen on the latest one, though there were still quite a lot of things about it I liked.

And Capaldi is great.

I confess that any time I manage to get to the UK and there is a chance, I look for Oxfam and all charity shops!!! We don´t have these, only second-hand shops that have nothing in common with charity.
What is your armchair like?
Also that cauliflower cheese is a mystery for me :-)
Well, I am going to bake Christmas honey cakes soon after the last year story with them: I baked them late and they were too hard to be eaten but hey! they were excellent in March!!! My mum snatched them all, decorated and not decorated, and she was in the 7th heaven, they were soft and yummy!:-) Obviously I used a recipe that needs early action to have the cakes edible at Christmas!
How is Rosie doing alone? Here is mňau from Oliver, both for her and for you!

I will try to post a photo of the armchair at some point.

I did once post my recipe for cauliflower cheese in a comment...

Rosie seems OK - she is sitting in my lap now. She must be puzzled by Tabitha's disappearance - though they didn't get on, her sister was the one constant in her life - but she doesn't seem distressed. Her appetite isn't huge, but I'm not quite sure whether to worry about that yet.

Thank you - I must have missed it...
Well, yes, with Rosie, you will see. Give her a pet from me!
