I've been meaning to post this for approximately a bazillion years and have only just now gotten around to it because I am amazing at procrastinating.

A few of you may remember my Supernatural/Time Traveler's Wife crossover fic, "Barefoot Girl." It involves a POV character (Dean Winchester) who encounters a time-traveling character (Alba DeTamble ( Read more... )

Looking at this makes me kind of want to post a version of the fic with the scenes all re-arranged so that they read in the order in which Alba experiences them. *ponders*

Two things to say - I'm here through a rec fron Unfitforsociety, and I loved the fic. The brain-twisting timeline was a big part of that love, too. That, and Dean. And Alba, especially Little Alba, who is so preciously matter-of-fact about the whole time travel business.

Also, how did you make the weird flower-thingies in the photo? Any online tutorial you would recommend?

Hee, fic comment and craft question all in one! I love it.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the fic, I really had a good time writing it. Alba impressed me in the book despite having so few actual scenes, and at the time I was pondering writing fic for her, I was also getting hooked on SPN and Dean. So naturally the two got combined. *laughs*

As for the paper flowers, they're for a kusudama I'm making, and there is indeed a tutorial available here at Folding Trees. (That link takes you to part one, which is how to make the flowers, and links to part two, which is about how to glue them all together in a big pretty ornament thing.)
