SPN Fic!

Okay, I've had this written now for something like a thousand years and I keep forgetting to post it. A while ago I wanted to try writing six or seven ficlets all linked by a common theme, and this is what came of it. Izh reminded me the other day that I still had it lying around, and today is as good a day as any for new fic, so:

Oh, this was beautiful. Every ficlet was so lovely and perfect, and your language just rolled and sang. (... I blame you for that description. Reading poeticalness makes me write it, only badly.)

Shep and May were so awesome! I would love to see them again someday, perhaps working with the now-fully-armed-and-operational team of SamnDean. :)

And the last scene was just so peaceful and sweet. I loved that it was through Bobby's eyes. He sees the boys with such gruff kindness and silent understanding and hidden affection. ::luffs::

I think Castiel would totally approve of this.

Shep and May seem to want me to put them in another fic with the boys. To that end, they keep feeding me backstory that I'd probably never get to use, even if I did write something. *laughs* But they may yet get to team up with the brothers, I think that would be really fun to write.

And I'm glad you liked the Bobby scene. I really liked the way that one worked in my head.

Thank you! I was pleased with the "sense of peace," as you put it, in the last ficlet, once it was written. The boys don't get too many moments of easy contentment, I like giving them a few here and there in fic. *grin* Glad you enjoyed!

This is a story structure I'm rather fond of myself, and you've done a lovely job with it here, these little snippets of their life. I really enjoyed this.
