More experiments in the design of cards featuring wheat-ear flowers, and another closed-coil tree under the cut. Beware some gratuitous close-up shots because Ernie loves taking them, and they're just too pretty not to post, sometimes.

Gah! So gorgeous! I love all of them - especially all of your wheat ears. The graduated color of the paper *really* was a good choice for the flowers. Lovely!!

I really love the graduated paper, it sort of adds a shine to the whole thing.

This stuff is eating my brain, man. I caught myself looking at our neighbor's sweet peas the other day and mentally trying to figure out how I'd quill the flowers. Look at the monster you have created!

Hee hee, I know what you mean! At my parents' house this weekend I took pictures of Dad's tractor to see if I could quill it! And these tiny blue dragonflies they have everywhere. It really does eat your brain.
