Baby Dot

green_tea_lady and holmeskillet are parents! Baby Dot was born earlier this morning, a healthy 8 pounds and change, and is, in her mother's words "a surprisingly chill baby, so far." GT was in labor for approx. 12 hours and is doing well.

ME: Congratulations, you've created life.

GT: Yup. Ow.

ME: Just like Doctor Frankenstein.

GT: Yeah. Just like that

I know, I seriously wasn't expecting a call today, considering that she wasn't being induced, or anything. But apparently, the contractions started right on time last night and progressed in textbook fashion, so...baby! On due date! Whoda thunk?
