Baby Dot
green_tea_lady and holmeskillet are parents! Baby Dot was born earlier this morning, a healthy 8 pounds and change, and is, in her mother's words "a surprisingly chill baby, so far." GT was in labor for approx. 12 hours and is doing well.
ME: Congratulations, you've created life.
GT: Yup. Ow.
ME: Just like Doctor Frankenstein.
GT: Yeah. Just like that.
ME: With lightning.
GT: For serious.
GT had several heartfelt and humorous sentiments on the subject of labor pains and the size of her daughter, but none of them are quite fit to print in a family-friendly setting. She is married to a sailor, after all.
I'm an auntie twice over, now! Can't wait to meet my new niece in June. *bounces*
