Yes hi *waves* I have to comment because I LOVED this episode (and the whole show and I have no one else who will share the joy with me *weeps*). :D

1. Haha, yes! I laughed so hard. It figures that Rodney would be the one shot in the ass.

5. Yes, I was slightly horrified. What the heck was up with that guy? NOT PRETTY.

6. Wraith!goggles are kind of cute.

12. Flashbacks were so very awesome. And we finally got Ronon backstory (and yes, explosions).

15. YELLOW! And see, I thought those were briefs. :D

I think this episode made me really like Ronon, whereas before I felt kind of 'meh' about him.

I love this show so. so. much. I think this might be my favourite episode, and it's definitely in the top three. I just. SO many things. (most of which you also mentioned, hee, and yay). it's like... I swear to god, they're trying to go more in the direction of fanfic. and sometimes it doesn't work and sometimes it half works but not quite and then this week? oh, it WORKED. ♥

I just. god. head going splodey all OVER the place.

It was FABULOUS. And omg hi, SGA, you've been holding out on us! Seriously, if they had like, a CHECKLIST this could not have been more fanservice. Just... Rodney talking about his ass? CHECK. John talking about his FEELINGS? CHECK. More backstory? CHECK. Teyla being a motherfucking badass? CHECKITY CHECK.

INFINITE LOVE.

EXACTLY. Omg. Yes. And the boxers which I also maintain were lemon slices and will do so in spite of any evidence to the contrary that there may be too and just... ee. Yes. They seriously gave us the gold on this one. And I remain amused that this is, like, three weeks in a row where someone mentions John's hair. HEE.

(Except Kavan Smith with short hair is confusing and weird.)

But, god, yes. So much love. I think I may have to watch it again this afternoon. God bless the intarwebs.

They are SO lemon slices. I thought they were happy faces at first, but then I saw screencaps, and... YES. LEMON SLICES. <333333

(I thought that WASN'T Kavan Smith! I should go watch again. Clearly.)

OH INTERNETS. ♥ Many are the gifts thou hast given me.

Stayed up so very late to download and watch the episode, and omg so glad I did. That? Was fan-bloody-tastic! I can only point at all of the stuff you listed, wibble a little, and nod. I wanted to go through and talk about all the stuff I loved over in my LJ but then I realized that it'd probably be easier to find and paste a transcript of the whole thing.

*twirls and flails, which is a dangerous combination*

AAAHHHHHHH IT WAS SO GOOD. I'm so glad I kept a running commentary going, because now when I try to think back on what, SPECIFICALLY, I loved, it is like a big incoherent blob. A blob of JOY.

*joins you in flirling*

18. "Yeah, I got six, Teyla got..." "I got eight." "I got nine, Teyla got eight." I think the thing that makes me love this bit is that he's so clearly lying badly, that it doesn't even seem like he's trying to make light of Teyla's abilities. It's such a Xander-line. He's, canonically, NOT as manly as Teyla, and he's pretty much OK with that, except for self-deprecating humor. THIS is a show that airs post-Buffy, not that misogynistic crap last week. <333333

YES!!!! I thought my world had ended after Buffy. And then SGA came along... *sobs happily*

The thing is, USUALLY I wouldn't hold SGA up as an example of Buffy-level awesomeness. It's been known to underuse its women. But this episode? Totally. ♥
