I'm in central NY south of Syracuse--and HOPEFULLY!

The Expanse start out on the SyFy channel, got canceled, and was revived on Amazon Prime. It's just stellar if you're interested in worldbuild-y ensemble cast things in space. One of the things I love about it is that it's about planets on the brink of war--but while there's definitely lots of guns blazing, it's also about people doing everything they can do not go to war. And focuses a lot on the political machinations that help/hinder that task, and on the aftermaths for people who tend to have very little say in the matter.
