Well, I'd rather have graduated than the alternative and all, but I've delayed my entry into the real world so long that I don't know what to do with myself.
I probably would have been miserable in grad school, anyway, so fuck them.
Yeah, the principal seems nice. He didn't treat the kids like criminals, which was Elliot's thing that bothered me.
Education-wise, I'm doing better than you, but let's not forget that you have a job, a way to save money, and a plan, whereas I have no job, will probably end up with a job that pays about as much as yours, student loans to pay off, and no plan. So really, you're the winner here.
Oh good! It will be nice to have you nearby. Ohio might as well be the moon as far as my hugging-the-Atlantic-for-the-past-twenty-three=years self is concerned. You will be easier to see.
...of course I really shouldn't speak because if I get a job I might be moving to Maryland.
Which is still on the East Coast. Eh.
I totally agree with you on all those things you said about the Real World. At this point I'm just trying to score a job. Somewhere.
*glomp* You will find a place that wants you! It might not be immediate, but I am sure of it. (insert cheesy encouraging phrase here)
The real world...as a working person I tell you it is a scary place filled with biased supervisors. It has its good points too...some days I can think of them.
I agree with the real friends...you all are way better than I could find out here.
