Just had a visit from one of the parishioners.  She's 89 years old, and still lives independently.  Having so many older folks around is like having a bunch of grandmothers and grandfathers.  It's kind of cool actually.  I get all kinds of advice, and stories from the past.  There are maybe two out of the lot that I would prefer not having to talk ( Read more... )

What's the point of a gown for a mammogram anyway?
Why not just have people take their top off?

Had there been someone behind me, they (and my father) would have seen my instinctive response as a bad choice.

Well, they'd be wrong, and if they can't stop in time to avoid hitting you, they're driving too close. I slow down for those idiots, and make them back off or pass me.
