Random Bits
Just had a visit from one of the parishioners. She's 89 years old, and still lives independently. Having so many older folks around is like having a bunch of grandmothers and grandfathers. It's kind of cool actually. I get all kinds of advice, and stories from the past. There are maybe two out of the lot that I would prefer not having to talk

Why not just have people take their top off?
Had there been someone behind me, they (and my father) would have seen my instinctive response as a bad choice.
Well, they'd be wrong, and if they can't stop in time to avoid hitting you, they're driving too close. I slow down for those idiots, and make them back off or pass me.
