I JUST ABSOLUTELY DEMAND A FULL-FLEDGED KUMITE-STYLE MARTIAL ARTS TOURNAMENT WITH THE GREATEST UNARMED COMBATANTS IN MARVEL, DAMMIT.

I'm so amazed we haven't gotten that on a grand scale yet. I want to see Shang-Chi vs. Crossbones, or Batroc vs. Danny Rand, dammit. I'm saying dammit a LOT lately, sheesh.

Shang Chi vs Deadpool? Oooh, so there. Is it just me, or is there almost a ridiculous amount of Deadpool stuff out right now? All of it's pretty damn good too!

Hey, have you been reading the current She-Hulk mini? It's been pretty entertaining, and the twist at the end of the current (3 of 4) issue is *hilarious*. :)

The new Savage She-Hulk mini? Uh, no. I'm still too upset about Jen's book being cancelled so Fred Van Lente can fap over his Gamma Sue creation. I'm also not pleased with the way Van Lente handled Jen in her appearance in the new SSH mini.

So, no. Not cool.

Fair enough. Honestly though, after reading this issue though, I don't think she really counts as a Mary Sue. If you don't mind me giving stuff away...

There's some very good usage of Marvel Boy and his powers, including when he takes Lyra down with his thumbnail poison; Jen one-punches Sentry into the ground (which was soooo good), and it turns out that Lyra's mission is to get knocked up by Norman.

Yeah, that's right. Freakish, eh?

Oh, pleeeese let the new Shang Chi be better than that series they tried a few yaers ago. It would be great to have a solid martial arts comic up and going again.

Plus, if Deadpool does get smacked down, I'm sure he'll be smiling as he blacks out. =D

Yup, that one. I really wanted to like it, but just couldn't get into it.

It didn't help that I don't really like Gulacy's recent work (his faces bug me). A fact that several friends have assured me is proof of my complete aesthetic and moral depravity, but, alas, there you are.
