Flist! I am here this morning to share joy with you!

So, I woke up this morning to find a six-page preview of Guardians of the Galaxy #13 over on cosmicbooknews.com.

I have been gasping for breath for the past ten minutes.

Guardians is one of my favourite comics these days. Actually, when I look at what's floating to the #1 slots on my faves each week, it's almost always the cosmic stuff. Guardians, Nova, GL books, Booster Gold to an extent. Good, good stuff.

When I saw the unlettered preview a few weeks ago, I saw the Groot debrief panel, and told some friends that if that panel was anything but, "I AM GROOT," I would be disappointed. And I wasn't. ;)

Bug is PRICELESS. He's very, very necessary to the Guardians of the Galaxy; he's the perfect foil to Peter's world weary and wry attitude. Bug's the total opposite of Peter; he's endlessly optimistic, loves a good brawl, flings himself into trouble at the slightest chance of thrills and adventure, and is a walking crack machine. I mean, this is a dude that hung out with Genis-Vell for years.
