Spring hits Moscow, populace proceeds to CAPSLOCK AT THE WORLD

As I've mentioned previously, I work for one corporate megalith that, due to tarantellic machinations, the vicissitudes of the market, and deliberate power plays, is now co-located in the same building as another corporate megalith ( Read more... )

Truthfully, I wasn't thinking of the Lantern War. I just kept thinking that Galactus had expanded his horizons just a bit, and started eating whole star systems.

As I just commented below (forgive the repetition), it also looks like Eternity's semi-transparent hand reaching out to cradle a star system. Right before there's some cosmic exposition.

Have you seen the picture of Obama jogging down a corridor with the dog running after him?

SO CUTE.

Haha, I wasn't thinking of the GL War of Light, but rather of what Krona saw (as depicted in stories like GANTHET'S TALE and JLA/AVENGERS).

I was about to be all like, "Way to go, Kali, you've just unleashed evil in the universe."

Seriously, though, whoaaaa.

Ah, Krona. TOTALLY.

It also looks like it could be Eternity's hand. Eternity can go all ethereal, too.

Isn't that amazing? It looks like a bunch of Blue Lanterns fighting a bunch of Oranges and Reds. Sort of like what an epic space battle would look like from a distance.

Yeah, I know that, and I never thought for a moment that you would. I just feel it had to be said.

I rather object to the use of the term 'pirate' in the first place. It's adds a romantic element that is just not in evidence. These are hijackers that point guns at innocents. They're not poor down-trodden revolutionaries trying to throw off the chains of the Imperialist pig dogs.

Language is important.

Oh, absolutely agreed on all counts, hon. What these Somalis and their associates are doing isn't something that I condone. I was worried there for a sec that you thought I might be an apologist! :-) I do, however, think that the issue is multifaceted; it's so important to look at the larger environment there so that perhaps we can find a holistic way to begin to ameliorate things like piracy that don't involve violence.

I thought it was going to signify the climax of Alan Moore's "American Gothic" saga in SWAMP THING.
