Every time I see that icon I crack up. (Your icon, I mean.)
It was funny because 1) ALL CAPS OF JOY and 2) the phrasing in English. It's funny to me in context because this Moscow colleague and I have an epic e-mail correspondence going, an e-mail thread that's been going on for six months, and every now and then he'll burst into ALL CAPS OF DOOM. That and his general wit and intelligence on other topics make it funny to me.

Mostly fine, thank you! I graduated from law school, got a job (it doesn`t pay much, but, as I own my apartment, I don`t have to pay rent, therefore it.. evens out in a way) just about a month before recession fully hit Russia, now am mostly busy with getting my life in order. I mean, last several months were like some sort of a haze, but now it`s getting brighter. I get tired less, walk more, find new ways to spend money (like buying a bike and ordering "Watchmen"), etc. Life semms to be finally getting better.
It was about 60 Fahrenheit on Wednesday here =). Then come Thursday morning... and snow! Nothing serious, it was mostly melting in the air as it was falling. Did awful things to my hair =). That`s the thing about Moscow climate: COLD winters and HOT summers. That makes autumns and springs kinda crazy =).
