I'm 11 episodes into Angel. I'm surprised that I had seen about half of these when they originally aired. I loved Doyle then and I still love him now. So sad that they killed him off. Even sadder is Glenn Quinn's real life death from a drug overdose which was six years ago. I can't believe it has been that long. There's been a cloud over my mood

I recently finished watching all of Angel for the first time and just like with Buffy, I liked the mid seasons the best. It was interesting for me to see how my opinions of characters changed with each season, some good and some bad. :)

Doyle was a great character. He played off Cordy well. Its a shame what happened,

Wesley was geeky and akward, in the beginning, but it makes sense once we learn about his relationship with his father. It makes him all the more saddening of a character. My love of him though, starts after season 1.
