Time flys and I haven't told you all that I finally watched S2 of Doctor Who while I was on vacation. I wasn't sure how I would feel about Ten because I loved Christopher Eccleston as Nine and I hated David Tennant in Harry Potter (the only thing I had seen him in prior). That being said I <3 TEN! oh my god, david tennant is so awful in goblet of fire. (i picked him for remus instead in my age-appropriate dream recasting.) he didn't completely win me over as the doctor either, though, until season 3. but season 2 is my favorite; i think it has the best episodes and the strongest themes.

had you only seen Nine's season and Eleven's season then?

I've only seen Nine's season and the first season of Ten. I haven't seen Eleven at all. I'm so behind. I feel like I was prepared for Ten. I watched S1 during Christmas so I had a long break in between. Also, I've read the Ten discussion and love in fandom for years. Without knowing specifics, I felt like I knew what to expect.

That doesn't surprise me because the Rose/Doctor bond is so strong. Which is made even more interesting since the Doctor is played by two different actors. There really is something epic about those two characters.
