"...oh, she knows."

Time flys and I haven't told you all that I finally watched S2 of Doctor Who while I was on vacation. I wasn't sure how I would feel about Ten because I loved Christopher Eccleston as Nine and I hated David Tennant in Harry Potter (the only thing I had seen him in prior). That being said I <3 TEN! He won me over right away with the Christmas Special.

Loved when Cassandra switched bodies with Rose (and the Doctor) on New Earth. It was fun to see Billie play someone completely different. It was a touching story too.

One of my favorites was "The Girl in the Fireplace". Sophia Miles has an amazing presence. Love the foreshadowing of Reinette and the Doctor's star-crossed romance with the fate of Ten/Rose. Plus period costumes and France!

The return of K-9! I grew up with the K-9 and Romana as the Doctor's companions. It was fun to see the old and new girls bonding.

You can't go wrong with doppelgangland (aka a parallel universe)! And finally Mickey stopped being annoying, the eventually kickasserie was just a bonus. Loved that they all came back for the finale.

I was sad to see Harriet Jones decided to exterminate the aliens. I didn't know anything about Torchwood except that it is a Doctor Who spin-off that has Captain Jack Harkness. It was interesting to see Torchwood as the Doctor's adversary.

Russell T. Davies is so wonderful at the happy and yet tragic ending. I cried at the end of last season and I cried at the end of this one too. The Doctor and Rose separated by time and space forever! Gah! It wasn't until they met on the beach that my silent tears started streaming down.
