Did the definition of fanon change at some stage while I was becoming older and bitterer or am I just having hallucinations ?

I thought Fanon was Fan Canon ie its stuff that doesn't conflict with canon at the time its created and spreads through Fannish Osmosis but lately I've seen it being used for Fan Canon ie stuff that conflicts explicitly ( Read more... )
