It started with a bang, literally - his morning, everything- all at once. Thunder boomed and rumbled in from the west rousing him from an already fitful sleep. A lone charcoal eye opened and looked to the window in sleepy dissatisfaction.  Dark, ominous clouds covered the sky blocking any hope for sun.

Oh my goodness, this was utterly heartbreaking. You captured Sakura's confusion and insanity so well, Kakashi's guilt so achingly. A good showing of the grittier, more depressing side to the life of a shinobi.
