Hi, all. I'll be posting this for Nims, because, as we all know, she's living it up in Germany right now. I'd've posted this yesterday, but... I forgot, and then I had to work.

Anyway! Onwards - to the chattiness.

The Lion King has always been and will always be my favorite Disney movie. In fact, it's my favorite movie of all time! I saw it last night in 3D and I cried and laughed like I'd never seen it before, even though I've seen it probably over 100 times. It's the first movie I remember watching when I was a kid, and it's stick with me because of that. My favorite character is probably Sarabi, even though she has maybe 4 lines in the whole movie. She's just such a BAMF when she stands up to Scar towards the end. And Scar is a personal favorite, too. Even though he's a villain, they somehow made him so likable. At least, think he's likable...

Disney is a staple of childhood. It's classic.

Scar is the perfect villain. His sarcasm always gets me. :D

Hmmm. The first Pirates of the Caribbean was amazing, but I adored Tangled with a passionate intensity. I love Mulan, Aladdin, the Lion King, Fantasia 2000, Beauty and the Beast...pretty much all of their movies, really. Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, or Snow White, not to the same degree, but I still like them. If I have kids, I'm never, ever letting them watch Bambi. Childhood trauma says no!

Summation: Tangled is my favorite and I love it lots.

I wholeheartedly agree with you on the Bambi thing. I have NEVER let my son watch Bambi. That movie should be banned I tell you! I bawled as a child at that. You don't just go around killing off mothers in children's movies!

Bambi and The Fox and the Hound. I. Will. NEVER. Let my children watch those. I refuse to watch either of them, even now.

The Fox and the Hound is about a puppy and a baby fox who grow up to be BFFs. I refuse to consider or remember any other possibility.

I still think Cruella de Vil is the best villain ever. First of all she wanted to kill puppies and make them into coats. If that doesn't sound evil I don't know what does. Not only that her last name is Devil. That just ultimate badass ( ... )

I loved 101 Dalmatians! Probably because I love puppies.

As for Aladdin, I just liked Genie.

I really liked Beauty and the Beast because I thought the Beast was pretty. I've always had odd taste.

I liked the ending, where the nanny was counting them, and the people whose names I've forgotten decide to keep them all and move to a farm. Heart-warming.

I, uh, really liked the Jafar/Jasmine kiss. Creepy yet sexy.

I thought Beast was pretty, too. I wanted to pet him as a child...

It's been so long since I watched all those movies, but I suddenly want to watch Aladdin. Jafar is one of my favorite villains (I totally watched the cartoon, too!)

The Jungle Book. I couldn't get enough of that movie as a kid... I think I really just wanted to BE Mowgli. It was also one of my favourite bedtime books and Rudyard Kipling is still one of my favourite authors.

Also love Beauty and the Beast (Gaston made me laugh) and Hercules (which has the best songs everrrrr).

I remember seeing a live-action version of that movie, and being terrified because of the GIANT ASS SNAKE. *shudders*

I hated Gaston. Even when I first saw it, I thought he was an over-inflated, entitled egomaniacal sexist. (Plus, he nearly killed the Beast.) ...I don't remember any songs from Hercules, except for the one Meg sings with the Muses. And the Muses' one at the beginning.

I hated Gaston too. He was such a dick, and then he nearly killed Beast, which coincided with Beast not being fluffy anymore, so I was deeply not into him.

Hades was pretty cool. He had flaming hair.

Perhaps it's just because it is far past time for me to be in Lala Land, but DEAR GOD "which coincided with Beast not being fluffy anymore, so I was deeply not into him." made me laugh out loud.

"Whoa, is my hair out?" I think that's my favorite line in that movie.

Oh, OH. I forgot A Bug's Life! I LOVE THAT PIXAR MOVIE. THE VILLAIN WAS SO COOL. HOPPER. ♥

Aww, Mary. XD I adored the original pink ranger when I was a kid. Kimberly. I hated all the pink rangers who came after her. Lol.

A Bug's Life. I haven't seen (or even thought about) that movie in a long time. It's hilarious. I really like the circus bugs.
