Pet Food Recall

This has been all over my flist, so you may have already seen it, but just in case:

Menu Foods, the Ontario-based company that produced the pet food, said Saturday it was recalling dog food sold under 48 brands and cat food sold under 40 brands including Iams, Nutro and Eukanuba. The food was distributed throughout the United States, Canada and

This goes under the category of "words I never thought I'd say", but I'm suddenly glad my cat's diabetic. She used to get Iams before I had to start getting her the special cat food.

thanks. as that's a more comprehensive site than what I had before. I do feed my kitten Nutro foil pouches on occasion, but I'm actually out at the moment. Thankfully she seems fine (she was yelling at me to throw the mousie just a moment ago and is now off doing the perpetual cat staring out the window thing).

ACK ACK ACK! The Lucy cat gets Iams and has since kittenhood! Am going to freak out now.

Nevermind. The Iams food affected was all canned/wet food, and my cat only gets dry. Whew! Thanks for the heads up, though!
