I'm glad it's 2012 now. Really, my mind skipped 2011 entirely, as three separate checks I wrote last year can attest to! XD

My band of the moment: Middle Brother. All three guys are in other bands that I really like so I'm surprised it took me so long to find them (Dawes, Delta Spirit, and Deer Tick). It just feels like three friends got together

Sherbet is French (well, sorbet is) and I pronounce it [ʃɝ~beɪ] which is a lot more French than English because idk, I've probably never heard someone say it differently or something. I like the way I say it.

So yes, the way you pronounce it, there should be another r in it.

Edit, since I am way too much in love with IPA and nobody else in the world is: my pronunciation would be shur-bay I guess (with stress on the second syllable).

Art is one of those things where my imagined skill and my actual skill are vastly different. Before I actually draw anything, I imagine this awesome masterpiece worthy thing... and then I actually draw it and reality hits. XD

I say sor-bay and sher-bert because that's always how I've heard them pronounced. It makes a lot more sense to say it the way you do! The quirks of dialects, I suppose!

the art thing happens to me too. I have really awesome ideas in my head but they never come out as I imagine them to look like. At all. If they did come out like I imagined them, I'd be very, very good. As it is, I'm proficient at drawing stick figures ;)
