... so Hakuba joins the ranks of the brainless? Keh... that idiot.

[and thanks to his run-in with Sophie and Tiffany, something has been weighing heavily on his mind recently]

Who else noticed the differences in the brainwashings from before? Drones have gotten violent, but people who have been turned intro drones... I've never seen that before ( Read more... )

I dunno. If you find out anything about this happening to anyone else, you tell me, all right?

Gotcha.

Is England-san okay?

[sighs]

Um. Yeah, he'll be okay, I think. But this was really ugly.

It really shook Sophie-san and Tiffany-san up.

What do you mean, they've gotten violent?

The election. That wasn't the first time the drones have been violent.

And England-san... apparently, he was brainwashed and tried to attack his family.

Oh. Poor Sophie... What traits do brainwashed citizens usually entail?

They usually proclaim to everyone how amazing Mayfield is.

Ohhhh?

The drones were some of the first warnings I was given, and they became violent very shortly after my arrival in this place. I was under the impression that such atrocities were common among the drones... you say it's rare?

The ones living in the town get violent all the time.

When people, actual people get turned into drones, they hardly act violently.

Ahhh, I see the difference. All of my so-called family members have recently become drones, so I'm praying this does not become a pattern amongst them. "Arthur" wasn't very good at fighting, but he could very well have harmed someone who did not expect an attack.

[Justin had tried to occupy England away from causing harm, but this was most likely already after he'd already injured/killed some people. He doesn't know that though.]

If this is the first incidence of it happening, though, it's possible that their brainwashing abilities have become stronger. If that's the case, I suggest they were using him as an experiment.

You saw him while he was brainwashed?

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised.

Maybe it might also depend upon the person's normal personality. I've seen it once before.

... who?

bustydefense November 22 2009, 03:48:35 UTC
A man named Firo. It happened a while ago... I can't say very much about it, because I was brainwashed too at the time.

Did he end up hurting whoever he was targeting?

I can only guess something's gone wrong in management...

Based on what happened during the elections, and how a few of us were able to get into City Hall right before, I wouldn't be surprised.

So I heard. Violence begets violence.

... Tell me, have you heard what your robot compatriot has been up to?

Reply

kaitopants November 22 2009, 06:41:23 UTC
Yeah.

... I saw him the other day. He didn't attack, but I haven't been keeping up with him since-- [he killed me remains unsaid]
