Bus from hell...not quite as exciting as the bus to hell

I know public transport doesn't always bring out the best in people but yesterday kinda shocked me, which is a feat in itself as I've been travelling on it for long enough! The first bus never showed up so of course the one that did some 20 mins later was packed to capacity even before all the city people had to get on. It was really standing room ( Read more... )

The unjustified crankiness from people on public transport grates me so damn much. Crankiness in general can be irritating, but when it's on public transport it seems so much worse.

Once my friend and I were waiting for a bus and we waited for the old man next to us to get on first (we weren't in a queue, it was just crowding around the doors basically). Then he snaps at us - loudly - "Hurry up and stop dawdling, we don't have all day!" Well, excuse me. :P

Oh, and don't tell me the cervical cancer needle hurts! ;P I still need to get mine!

There is so much unnecessary aggressiveness/crankiness when travelling on public transport. And really we're all in the same position everyone is going to get on the bus/train, what's the use of pushing, getting agro etc??

The cervical cancer needle seems to hurt for alittle bit longer after just the initial sting. But I'm talking like 5 seconds longer! Or it could just be me being a wuss but I'm pretty good with needles usually. My arm has been abit tender since though and that's been a few days now. Not to freak you out! LOL!

Ugh. I hate people making snap judgements. Just because you have a tattoo, doesn't make you a troublemaker or bad person.

Yes, thank you that's my point exactly!! I know that people make snap judgements all the time, it's like the old saying first impressions last, but I've never come across it quite so blatantly in my face or directed at me before.

It's not like I'm going to change for some snooty woman at a bus stop either LOL!
