I know public transport doesn't always bring out the best in people but yesterday kinda shocked me, which is a feat in itself as I've been travelling on it for long enough! The first bus never showed up so of course the one that did some 20 mins later was packed to capacity even before all the city people had to get on. It was really standing room only, so much so that the driver wasn't letting any new people get on at each stop. Or he would only let on the same number of people that got off.
I gave up sitting down so 2 other women could sit down, simply because they were both older than me and one of the ladies was saying that she really needed to sit down. For her I even asked the dude that was going to sit down if he minded that this lady did instead. I was being nice! so was slightly annoyed when both these women then sat down and whinged!! You just got a seat for fucks sake... what are you whinging about!!?!
Anyway something else that really shocked me was while I was waiting for the bus. I was people watching and saw that the lady standing in front of me was eyeing up this other girl that was standing near us. This other girl was really really short but quite large and she had like a really round face making her look like a chipmunk. I watched this lady eye this other chick and then frown. Thought that was odd. Then this lady must've "felt" that I was watching her so she glanced back at me. She then looked me up and down and I watched her gaze stop on my foot. Now I'm assuming she was looking at my tattoo as it was in plain sight and I watched this woman shake her head! she shook her head at me!! Talk about snap judgement!!
In other news... went to the Dr today to get the second cervical cancer needle. That hurt like a bitch! LOL! Also got what I assumed was an insect bite in about December 06 when I was in London. Yeah it's never gone away but because it's on the back of my leg I never give it a second thought. So that got cut out today. I'll get the results of what it was in bout 10 days when I have to return to get the stitches out. Fun!
At least I got to skip out of work early and avoid the bus dramas! :) Off to watch that footy.
