On more odd dreams...

Plus some fanfiction. Good Omens this time; I'm trying to keep from going rusty, so using some prompts from an old 100 fic challenge that I had around. Ahaha.

So my dream! Somehow, I managed to a) miss a date entirely, b) miss the second one by two hours despite being within five minutes' walking distance of the place, c) have a woman nursing her infant in my closet.

And then my first boyfriend was in the neighborhood, asking me if I wanted to join the cult he and his friends were starting.

I don't even know anymore.

Light.

Contrary to popular belief, the wings of demons are the same as angels, although they're often better groomed.

Crowley hadn't had the time to notice before1, but Aziraphale's wings were nearly as dusty as his bookshop. It was a detail that had stuck in his mind afterward, however, and he'd finally gotten around to sitting the angel down in the back room of the shop.

The angel, after some complaining, had settled down well enough once he'd started. He'd cleaned the white wings so they shone brilliantly in the afternoon light before working on straightening feathers, pulling ones that should have been shed long before, and occasionally nudging Aziraphale with his knee to keep the angel from squirming too much.

Aziraphale, between steadily lengthening complaints of pain2, was chattering about a letter he'd received from Adam Young, but Crowley wasn't paying attention. He'd seen the angel shine with the power of God several times before, but those times paled in comparison to the sight before him. Sunlight made the white wings and pale exposed skin shine before him, and he took in the sight greedily. It was almost intoxicating, watching that pure light radiating underneath his fingers.

"And... Crowley? Are you listening?"

The wings of demons are the same as angels...but something in him missed the times, nearly six thousand years previously, when his had shone with that beautiful light.

1 The impending appearance of Satan and one's inevitable demise do, in fact, take priority over certain things.
