Whoa, a countertenor! Definitely not what I was expecting, but what a gorgeous voice. One to keep an eye on for sure.

I have a huge weak point for Romania because of this guy's voice. The song's not that amazingly awesome even, but that's now secondary.

Yes, you need a level glitter rainbows Eurovisionness to see the awesomeness in songs that, if you otherwise heard them on the radio, would make you quickly change the channel/chuck the thing out of the window and burn it. I know this because I just went back in time watching Iceland's entries and somehow managed to swoon over f-huge mullets and shoulder pads... :DDD
