Kailin had kept his promise. Once his duties were through he packed a few items in his Kutari and headed back to Earth at the appointed time. Lyssie was just finishing up as she walked towards the spot, she wore the blue dress he had gotten her and was busying herself with putting the ribbons in her hair. She'd gotten some very nice crimson colored lipstick from a friend, her hair pulled back into a tight ponytail as she hummed. She did her best to make sure she didn't do anything that would offend his people, but at the same time she needed to be comfortable. She managed to get the last little ribbon end tucked and tied in her hair and gave a small sigh of relief. Finally.

She smiled as she neared Kailin and gave a wave. "Hello Kailin"

I must warn you that the Centauri day is not the same. We are awake for 32-40 hours and sleep for 8-16 hours by your standards. For us it is but one day's travel home.

Kailin smiled and motioned to the co-pilot's seat for Lyssie. I believe you will wish to be up front for your first view of space.

Kailin showed her how to belt herself in. You will adjust or perhaps I will over time. I have heard that our schedule is too much for most humans to endure.

It wasn't long before they broke the clouds and sped up. There were stars everywhere and four ships halfway between where they broke out of the atmosphere and the moon.

Lyssie was fascinated for the moment, craning herself as far as she could to see the planets with that blasted seat belt on.She was seriously starting to hate it at the moment.

She didn't have to say anything for Kailin to know. You can take it off my dear until we are ready to dock.

He headed past Jupiter and toward Saturn. He was aware of the facination those on Earth had for this planet. He did find it quite beautiful as well.

Quickly, she undid the seat belt and leaned over the window, keeping her hands off the glass because that was rude. "Kailin..it's..beautiful.."

Kailin laughed. I do not mind the hand prints. Maintenance has become quite used to small ones there already.

He slowed the ship and took in the sights. I am so often among the stars that I forget what beauty can be found sometimes.

She grinned a bit and sat up smiling with her knees on the seat. "I don't think I want to go down.."
