It's quite possibly bogus, but supposedly what you are about to see is a maquette of the proposed design for Legendary Pictures Godzilla 2012 project, built to be shown to Toho for approval.

A while back I heard a rumor. A rumor that made me happy, but it was only a rumor. Well, now it seems that that rumor has been confirmed:

When Classic Media first announced the release of several remastered Godzilla DVDs, each with the original and uncut Japanese versions included, I was probably most excited by Gojira--but I was just as excited about Terror of Mechagodzilla. Been playing Godzilla: Unleashed just about every chance I get lately. It's a truly great game, even if the controls are a bit tricky to master. It has its share of problems, such as a few too many "clones" but for the most part it has an excellent choice of playable monsters ( Read more... )
