i'm trying to avoid angst lately, i crave fluff all the time, but that was something
i don't like kyungsoo unhappy but at the same time i really liked how you described him here and the punching scene was really strong and amazing
but what was jongin thinking, it's been eating me up the whole time! like, we can wonder, we can guess some of it, but what really was he feeling?
and the song really is sad and pretty, i knew only this song by daughter before, it's also sad ;;

AHHH jongin!! okay, well, obviously he cared for kyungsoo as a friend more than any other member, he was always asking to be with soo and got mad when they weren't together or soo was ignoring him. i think though once kyungsoo tells him he loves him, it kind of opened his eyes not in the sense of OMG I love him too but more as in my friend is hurt and it's because of me what do i do eek. and then the punch is where i think he realizes shit kyungsoos hot (lmao) and it all spirals into that jongin cares so much about soo that he's willing to try out a relationship for soo, but also for himself bc he's got some hardcore feelings down there after angry soo Lol

oh yes that one is one of my favourite songs!!! all their songs are rlly pretty and sad hehe thank you for this lovely comment <333

nooo, the punch scene was a culmination more, i must have read this like 3 times before continuing hahaha, the build up was good <3

I haven't read a Kaisoo in a very long time because none of them felt right. I haven't worked out exactly what my headcanon for them as a pair is yet; all I know is that it's not what it was at debut and most fics don't fit it. Idk if this does either but but BUT! Your individual characterizations definitely most definitely do!!!! Jongin is so young and he's a grown up now but not really and he's been working at being a performer for so long. I feel he's more likely to be brazenly confident up until he's not, because when you're kinda a kid your emotions change so fast. And he's naive and loving and probably gives too much of himself but does it thoughtlessly and doesn't notice much. And Kyungsoo! He's so young too he's the same age as me and I don't know anything, but he just gets shunted through fic because he's in the beagle line prankin' it up with BaekYeolDae or squishy and smitten. You, my friend, you have acknowledged the both of them as younger not as sure awkward but determined complicated people and I. LOVE. IT. YES

firstly, I'm touched you decided to read my kaisoo after ages of not reading any!!

And I know EXACTLY what you mean!! Especially on Kyungsoo, I mean he's still REALLY young and I think personally people over look that bc of the maknae and beagle line. Jongin, I think gets a bit more attention as young bc he's in the maknae line with tao and sehun, but really clearly not as much as them, also because he's in charge of dance in exo it makes people know that he handles responsibility..so then he can handle more if they give him that.

It means more that I can get these characterisations right and I hope you fight the right kaisoo genre for you one day :D thank you, thank you, thankyou!!!
